We parked at the visitor centre to walk around the reservoir. The full circuit is just under 6 miles. It’s easy walking on good paths and you can’t get lost! The path is a mix of rough track and proper road but is mostly flat or slightly undulating (a rarity in the Peak District).
Can you drive around Ladybower Reservoir?
You can drive up the road that leads to all three dams, up the road by the bridge… the road is about 6 miles long. Only down side last time I checked was as you pass the main car park to ladybower that road is closed to the public Saturday Sunday and Monday, otherwise you are free to drive right to the end.
